Too funny. Make sure that you try out Word, but it's fun to play around with. (Requires Flash.)

All About My Vagina

This is an interesting read - very thoughtful and well-designed.

Darwin Fish and More

Your spot to buy all those bumperstickers you've coveted, like my favorite: "God is my copilot but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him."

The Grand List of Overused Science Fiction Clichés

If you've ever thought about writing a story containing one of these plot elements, STOP. THINK. And then go outside for some air.

Interior Decorating: Horrors from the Land of Shag

This site is HUGE, so you might want to bookmark it for later refrence. He's scanned photos from many 70's era decorating books, and commented on them. The atrocities that were passed off as trendy are really hiliarious. For example, check out this sitting room or this foyer.

Abandoned Missile Base Tour

These fellows broke into a missile base that was decommed, and took a bunch of pictures. Don't try this at home, but it is pretty interesting and well-done.

The FlyLady

A few people on one of the boards I visit have been using this site and her emails to help them clean up their homes. Most have apparently mutineed after a few days of having this woman email you several times an hour reminding you to clean your sink, wear shoes, go to bed, etc. This site is apparently based on the SHE System, which is just as organized but not as annoying.

I Do - Sorta.

Interesting article and review of the book Here Comes the Bride: Women, Weddings, and the Marriage Mystique by Jaclyn Geller. It's a really scathing review, but it's turned me onto another book that I'll have to look into.

New Web Advertising Tool

Yo, watch ouy for this shit. Spyware sucks. When you download a program, may sure it's not installing something in the background, like a virus or something like this program.

Friendly Freezer Club

Someone passed along this club page to me when I whined about how much food I had to preserve from the garden. Good stuff, although I'll admit I've got it set for web-read only. Also, the cheery inspirational stuff gets on my nerves - I'm just there for the recipes, ma'am.
